April 2018 Fifth Sunday of Easter

Dear Friends,

Mindful of today’s Gospel reading Jesus draws our attention to the fact that we are branches of the true vine who is Jesus.  I therefore draw your attention to the item that follows, “Rediscovering Jesus”.

Saturday Mornings _ Rediscover Jesus

We were encouraged by the number of parishioners who indicated in our questionnaire last year that they would like to attend a Saturday “Teaching”.  We are happy to announce that the first of these Saturdays will be held on the 12th May and will run fortnightly thereafter – 26th may, 9th June, 23rd June, 7th July and 21st July.  We will be exploring prayer, quiet time and bible study.  These mornings will be informal and relaxed and start at 9:30 with tea and croissants and will end around 11-11:30 ish.  Please fill in a reply slip if you can attend so that we get an idea of numbers.  (The reply slips are on the table next to the newsletter).  We look forward to seeing you there.
